Cedar House is a registered charity, which has been providing counselling to the people of the Preston area since 1998. We opened in a small way with a special focus on pregnancy-related crises, but have grown over the years to offer counselling on a wide range of issues to men and women alike. We are now one of the main providers of counselling in Preston.

We are conveniently situated at 23 Mount Street, Preston, PR1 8BS, just off Fishergate, the city’s main shopping area, a few minutes walk from the railway station and roughly 10-15 minutes walk away from the main bus terminal.

Counselling at Cedar House is simply an opportunity to talk over difficulties or problems in a relaxed and friendly environment with someone who is trained to listen and to help you to find your way forward. We are also happy to accept referrals from other healthcare professionals, such as GPs, social workers, as well as schools and churches etc.

Cedar House provides counselling for many issues and problems, but please note, we do not provide counselling to reduce drug and alcohol dependency, but we will help you deal with the underlying problems.
